This CSF Race radiator is a major step up over the stock radiator equipped on the F8X M3/M4 from the factory. Unlike the single core one pass radiator equipped on a stock F8X M3/M4 this radiator features a 2 row, 42mm dual core which not only increases system capacity but it also increases cooling efficiency by 20%.
The radiator core features an ultra-efficient fin with 6.5mm fin height and multi-louvered design for maximum surface area contact. The triple-pass flow structure allows the coolant to flow across the core of the radiator 3 times before exiting the radiator for lowest outlet temperatures possible.
CSF has also designed this radiator to feature “Drop-in fit” requiring no modifications to install. Accepts all attaching OE components including “quick-connect” hoses, mounting brackets, OE X-brace, and all air ducting/shrouding. Includes removable aluminum rock guard.
Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.
